Kris Caudle is the Higher Education Fellow for the Office of Legal Affairs. Prior to joining the Office of Legal Affairs, Kris practiced education law as an associate at Schwartz & Shaw, P.L.L.C., focusing primarily on employment law, Title IX, special education and appellate law. Kris received a B.A. in History from the University of North Carolina Wilmington in 2007, and a J.D. from the University of North Carolina School of Law in 2015. Kris is a former North Carolina Teaching Fellows Scholar and worked as a Social Studies teacher in the Wake County Public School system before attending law school. During law school, Kris served as the Executive Editor of the First Amendment Law Review, in addition to working as an intern with the North Carolina Supreme Court and as an extern with the Education Section of the North Carolina Department of Justice.
