This University Policy has been revised to bring it into conformity with current terminology, practice, and procedures. For example, the word "General" is deleted from the name of the Alumni Association to make the name consistent with the Articles of Incorporation, and the term "interest groups" is replaced by "chapters." In addition, reference to the "Annual Giving Fund" is deleted because there is no longer a fund with this name, and reference to the "Excellence Fund" is added to reflect the name of one fund into which annual contributions to the Alumni Association may be deposited. In addition, provisions have been added to reflect the means by which the Alumni Association is provided operating funds by the University and to reflect how the Alumni Association funds are managed by the University.
