These revisions to Section XIX of the Code of Student Responsibility were made based upon a request of the Board of Trustees that the length of time for appeal to the Board of Trustees from a decision of the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs or the Chancellor for Serious Violations be increased from three days to five days. In order to maintain consistency, the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs requested that the same change be made to the process for appeals from a decision of the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs to the Chancellor for Minor Violations.
