Risk Management

The Office of Legal Affairs provides guidance on minimizing and avoiding risks for the institution, primarily in partnership with the University's Risk Management, Safety and Security Division. Advice regarding Risk Management often involves the health and safety of student, faculty, staff, and visitors, the protection of University assets, and/or the institution's compliance with local, state and federal requirements. Emergency planning, campus safety and security, environmental health and safety, and insurance matters are all encompassed in the risk management practice area.
